Top corporate lawyers at Tier 1 law firms earn salaries comparable to investment bankers.

Education Pathway

  1. After Class 12: 5-year integrated BA LLB / BBA LLB (via CLAT/AILET)
  2. After graduation: 3-year LLB
  3. Enroll with State Bar Council
  4. Specialise through practice or LLM

Salary Range in India

  • Tier 1 law firm entry: 15-25 LPA
  • Mid level (5-8 years): 25-50 LPA
  • Partner/Senior Advocate: 50-2Cr+ LPA
  • Litigation (independent): 5-30+ LPA (variable)
