PLEASE READ THIS DISCLAIMER CAREFULLY BEFORE USING PARAM AI™. THIS DISCLAIMER FORMS PART OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE AND IS LEGALLY BINDING.

1. Nature of the Service

1.1. Param AI™ is a decision-support tool that provides career guidance insights based on psychometric assessment responses and algorithmic analysis.

1.2. Param AI™ is NOT:

  • a professional career counseling service;
  • a psychological, psychiatric, or clinical assessment tool;
  • a substitute for qualified professional advice of any kind;
  • a certification, accreditation, or qualification service;
  • a guarantee or prediction of career success, academic outcomes, or employment;
  • a medical device or diagnostic tool.
  • 1.3. Regulatory Status and Non-Affiliation. Param AI™ is a self-administered, non-clinical career guidance and self-discovery tool. It is not certified, licensed, accredited, endorsed by, or affiliated with any psychological, psychiatric, educational, or professional regulatory body, including but not limited to:

  • the American Psychological Association (APA) or any APA division, and is not aligned, validated, or audited against the *Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing* (APA/AERA/NCME);
  • the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) or any RCI-registered professional category;
  • the British Psychological Society (BPS), European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA), or International Test Commission (ITC);
  • any state, national, or international psychology licensing board, examination authority, or test publisher.
  • 1.4. No Restricted Instruments. Param AI™ does not administer, reproduce, score, or interpret any restricted, proprietary, or qualified-purchaser psychological instrument (including but not limited to MMPI, WAIS, WISC, 16PF, NEO-PI-R, MBTI, or any DSM-5/ICD-11-aligned diagnostic instrument). All scoring models, item banks, and trait constructs used by the Service are proprietary algorithms developed by Param Innovations Private Limited and are not validated, normed, or peer-reviewed against any published psychometric standard.

    1.5. No Practice of Psychology. Nothing produced by the Service constitutes the practice of psychology, counseling, psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluation, educational psychology, vocational rehabilitation, or any other regulated professional service. Users requiring such services must consult a professional licensed in their jurisdiction.

    2. No Guarantee of Accuracy

    2.1. All Reports, scores, recommendations, career match percentages, trait analyses, pathway simulations, and other outputs are statistical estimates generated by algorithmic and rule-based models. They are probabilistic, not deterministic.

    2.2. The Company makes no representation or warranty that:

  • any score, percentage, or rating accurately reflects your actual abilities, personality, aptitude, or potential;
  • any career recommendation is suitable for you;
  • any career pathway simulation reflects actual career progression;
  • any Report output is accurate, complete, reliable, or current.
  • 2.3. Results may vary based on:

  • the honesty and accuracy of your Assessment responses;
  • the specific questions presented during your Assessment;
  • the version of the scoring model in use;
  • the date and context of the Assessment.
  • 3. AI and Algorithmic Limitations

    3.1. The Service uses a combination of:

  • Rule-based algorithms for career matching and scoring;
  • Statistical models (psychometric scoring, IRT-based item selection) for trait estimation;
  • Behavioral analysis algorithms for response pattern assessment;
  • Simulation engines for career pathway projection.
  • 3.2. These systems have inherent limitations:

  • They process only the information provided through Assessment responses.
  • They cannot account for all personal, cultural, social, economic, or environmental factors that influence career outcomes.
  • They may reflect biases present in model design or training data, despite our mitigation efforts.
  • They cannot predict changes in the job market, economy, technology, or educational landscape.
  • They produce estimates, not measurements — psychometric scores are approximations with inherent uncertainty.
  • 3.3. No AI system, regardless of sophistication, can reliably predict human career outcomes. Career success is influenced by countless factors that no assessment can capture, including individual effort, opportunities, relationships, economic conditions, health, and chance.

    4. User Responsibility

    4.1. You assume all risk associated with your use of the Service and any decisions made based on Reports or recommendations.

    4.2. You are solely responsible for:

  • evaluating the suitability of any career recommendation for your circumstances;
  • seeking independent professional advice before making significant life or career decisions;
  • verifying any factual information contained in Reports;
  • considering multiple sources of guidance beyond this Service.
  • 4.3. The Company has no obligation to update, correct, or supplement any Report after it has been generated, unless a material deficiency in service delivery is identified.

    5. Limitation of Liability

    5.1. Maximum liability. The Company's total liability to any user, for all claims of any kind, arising from or related to the Service, shall not exceed Indian Rupees Five Thousand (INR 5,000) or the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is lower.

    5.2. Excluded damages. The Company shall not be liable for:

  • any career outcome, academic result, or employment decision;
  • loss of income, profits, opportunities, or anticipated savings;
  • emotional distress, mental anguish, or disappointment;
  • any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
  • damages arising from third-party reliance on Reports;
  • damages arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable Report content.
  • 5.3. These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and whether or not the Company was advised of the possibility of such damages.

    6. Reports Are Point-in-Time

    6.1. Each Report reflects an analysis based on your Assessment responses at the time of the Assessment.

    6.2. Reports do not account for changes in your interests, skills, circumstances, or the career landscape that may occur after the Assessment.

    6.3. Reports should be treated as one input among many in a broader decision-making process, not as a definitive or permanent statement about your career prospects.

    7. Psychometric Scores Are Estimates

    7.1. All psychometric scores, trait measurements, and behavioral dimensions reported by the Service are statistical estimates, not absolute measurements.

    7.2. These estimates are subject to:

  • measurement error inherent in all psychometric instruments;
  • response bias (social desirability, acquiescence, etc.);
  • test-retest variability;
  • the limitations of self-report data.
  • 7.3. Scores should be interpreted with appropriate caution and in the context of professional guidance.

    8. Third-Party Disclaimer

    8.1. Reports are intended solely for the assessed individual (or their parent/guardian).

    8.2. No employer, educational institution, recruiter, admission committee, or other third party should rely on a Param AI™ Report for making decisions about any individual.

    8.3. The Company disclaims all liability to third parties who access, use, or rely on Reports, regardless of how they obtained access.

    9. Student-Provided Information and Class Eligibility

    9.1. Param AI™ is designed and calibrated for students in Classes 8 through 12. All psychometric instruments, career matching algorithms, and report generation are optimized for this academic range.

    9.2. The accuracy of all Service outputs — including career assessments, trait scores, career matches, and PDF reports — depends entirely on the information provided by the student, including class, section, school name, date of birth, and all assessment responses.

    9.3. Param AI™ does not independently verify the class, age, school enrolment status, or identity of any user. If a student or their guardian provides incorrect, misleading, or false information (including selecting an incorrect class or academic level), the Company shall bear no liability whatsoever for any outcomes, recommendations, career suggestions, or decisions made on the basis of the resulting assessment.

    9.4. It is the sole responsibility of the student (and their parent or guardian, if the student is a minor under the DPDP Act, 2023) to ensure that all profile information, including class and personal details, is accurate, complete, and current at the time of assessment.

    10. Acknowledgment

    By using Param AI™, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • you have read and understood this Disclaimer;
  • you accept the probabilistic and limited nature of all Service outputs;
  • you will not rely solely on the Service for significant life or career decisions;
  • you assume full responsibility for any decisions made based on Reports;
  • the Company's liability is limited as stated above;
  • you will seek independent professional advice as appropriate;
  • you confirm that the class and personal information you have provided is accurate.
