Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Param AI™ platform ("Service") and forms part of the Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and, where applicable, legal action.

1. Permitted Use

The Service is intended for:

  • Individual students and families seeking career guidance through psychometric assessment;
  • Educational institutions administering assessments with proper authorization and consent;
  • Qualified counselors and educators supporting student career exploration;
  • Corporate and organizational users for authorized employee development programs.
  • 2. Prohibited Conduct — All Users

    You must not:

    2.1. Assessment Manipulation

  • Provide deliberately dishonest, misleading, or random responses to manipulate Assessment outcomes.
  • Have another person take an Assessment on your behalf.
  • Use any software, tool, or script to automate Assessment responses.
  • Share Assessment questions, scoring patterns, or reverse-engineered algorithmic insights with others.
  • Take the same Assessment multiple times using different accounts to game results.
  • 2.2. Unauthorized Access

  • Attempt to access, probe, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system or network without authorization.
  • Breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures.
  • Access another user's account, data, or Reports without authorization.
  • Attempt to gain access to any systems, data, or services not intentionally made available to you.
  • 2.3. Data Extraction and Reverse Engineering

  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or scoring models of the Service.
  • Attempt to extract, reconstruct, or replicate the psychometric models, career knowledge graph, or scoring matrices.
  • Use the Service's outputs to build a competing product or service.
  • 2.4. Harmful Use

  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or overwhelm the Service with automated requests.
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Upload unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing, or harmful content.
  • Impersonate another person, user, or entity.
  • 2.5. Credential Abuse

  • Share account credentials with unauthorized persons.
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, bans, or usage limits.
  • Sell, transfer, or assign your account or any rights under the Terms of Service.
  • 3. Prohibited Conduct — Institutional Users

    In addition to the above, Institutional Users must not:

    3.1. Misuse of Reports

  • Use Reports as the sole or primary basis for stream allocation, course placement, or academic tracking decisions.
  • Use Reports to discriminate against students on any basis, including gender, caste, religion, disability, or socioeconomic status.
  • Deny students educational opportunities, scholarships, or resources based solely on Report outputs.
  • Use Reports for disciplinary purposes or punitive actions against students.
  • 3.2. Data Misuse

  • Share student data or Reports with unauthorized third parties without valid consent.
  • Retain student data beyond the period authorized by the institution's agreement with the Company.
  • Use student data for purposes not disclosed to students or their guardians.
  • Fail to maintain the confidentiality of student Reports.
  • 3.3. Consent Violations

  • Administer Assessments to students without obtaining the required parental or guardian consent.
  • Coerce or pressure students into taking Assessments.
  • Fail to inform students and guardians about how Assessment data will be used.
  • 4. Automated Access

    4.1. Automated access to the Service (via bots, scripts, or APIs not explicitly provided by the Company) is prohibited unless:

  • you have received prior written authorization from the Company;
  • you are using an officially documented API within its rate limits and terms.
  • 4.2. Rate limits apply to all API access. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary or permanent blocking.

    5. Reporting Violations

    If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to:

  • Email: abuse@paramai.in
  • Include details of the violation and any supporting evidence.
  • We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

    6. Consequences of Violation

    Violations of this AUP may result in, at the Company's sole discretion:

  • Warning and request for corrective action;
  • Temporary suspension of account access;
  • Permanent termination of account;
  • Deletion of content or data associated with the violation;
  • Reporting to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities;
  • Legal action to recover damages and enforce the Company's rights.
  • 7. Monitoring

    7.1. The Company reserves the right to monitor use of the Service for compliance with this AUP and the Terms of Service.

    7.2. Monitoring may include automated fraud detection, behavioral analysis of Assessment response patterns, and review of usage logs.

    7.3. Monitoring is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
