What Does a Management Consultant Do?
Management consultants advise organisations on strategy, operations, technology, and organisational transformation. They work in project-based teams, conduct rigorous analysis, and present recommendations to C-suite executives. The "MBB" firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) are the pinnacle, but Accenture, Deloitte, and EY also have large consulting practices. Entry typically requires an MBA from a top school or exceptional undergraduate credentials.
