What Does a Clinical Psychologist Do?
Clinical psychologists assess and treat mental health conditions — depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and behavioural issues. They use evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, psychodynamic), conduct psychological testing, and work in hospitals, clinics, schools, and private practice. Unlike psychiatrists, they do not prescribe medication but focus on talk therapy and psychological interventions.
